Shutter Releases A Must Have for Astrophotography |
|||
|
Look Mom, one hand! Depress the plunger and it stays depressed -- no fumbling with a lock screw during long-exposure shots. This self-locking mechanism makes this shutter release the best we have seen anywhere. A shutter release triggers a camera's shutter without inducing vibration, which touching the camera with your hand can do. Any vibration will ruin your shot. Then just press the release ring at the base of the plunger to close the camera's shutter. Both steps can be done easily with one hand, which frees up the other for masking the camera lens, starting a timer, or having a beer! Great for piggyback or prime-focus photography.
