A
tele-extender is an eyepiece-projection tube used for high-magnification
photography of the Moon and planets. The adapter slides into
the eyepiece holder as an eyepiece normally would. All models
are composed of two detachable parts: a T-adapter for prime-focus
photography, and an extension tube for eyepiece-projection photography.
A setscrew in the extension tube holds the eyepiece in place.
Each adapter is precision made of black-anodized aluminum. The
1.25" models are threaded for eyepiece filters. |
