A
finder telescope is a small, low power spotting scope that rides piggy-
back on the main telescope's tube. The finder's wide field of view
shows a much larger area of the sky, making it easier to locate and
centering faint objects in the main telescopes once collimated. Large
aperture finder telescope can help you find fainter objects that may
be invisible in a smaller finder.
