Its 125mm mirror has a focal length of 1025mm (f/8), so it offers generous wide-field views of deep-sky objects when used with the included 25mm, 16mm and 12mm Eyepieces. For lunar and planetary study, use the 12mm with Barlow lenses (also included). This great all-around telescope also serves up excellent views of deep-sky delicacies, making it the perfect instrument for the beginning or intermediate stargazer.
Our exclusive new Alt-azimuth mount moves gracefully on its axes and provides very solid support. A definite step up in engineering from competitors’ similar offerings. The tube slews effortlessly yet views remain vibration free.
